The vacancies are distributed as follows:
- Amin: 15 posts (6 reserved for women)
- Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant: 15 posts (5 reserved for women)
- Junior Forensic Attendant: 94 posts (30 reserved for women)


The eligibility criteria include:
- Age: 21-42 years as of January 1, 2025
- Education:
    - Amin: +2 Arts/Science/Commerce with Basic Computer Application Certificate
    - Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant: +2 Vocational (Fisheries) or +2 Science with swimming knowledge
    - Junior Forensic Attendant: +2 Science from a recognized Board/Institution
